We are delighted to re-launch the Jaguar Factory Tour Programme for 2010 to support our global XJ launch activity. Centrally co-ordinated by the Global Events Team, the programme provides a unique opportunity to invite current and prospective customers to Jaguar Cars for an exclusive Jaguar experience.

The tour packages offered are as follows:

1 Day Programme

  • Guest Flight Arrivalsinto Birmingham International Airport.
  • Guests greeted by a Jaguar Events Guide who will accompany the group throughout.
  • Private Coach Transferfrom Birmingham International Airport to Jaguar Visitor Centre, Castle Bromwich.
  • Arrival at the Jaguar Visitor Centre, Castle Bromwich. Current product on display in the showroom.
  • Welcometo Jaguar and the opportunity to view the XJ Black Room environment. The All New Jaguar XJ is shown beside a full colour and trim display as seen at the Global Launch events in London's Saatchi Gallery.

 

  • Castle Bromwich Plant Tourshowing behind the scenes of the production facility at Castle Bromwich, offering a unique opportunity to witness first hand how Jaguar cars are assembled from start to finish and the extraordinary craftsmanship dedicated to each car. Guests are given maximum opportunity to ask any questions they may have about each of the Jaguar model line up.

    The majority of build processes will be shown using all of the latest technologies, robotics and lean manufacturing. The tour starts in the Body in White area where the shell is assembled before going to Trim and Final area where the interior is fitted, followed by the introduction of engines and axles in Powertrain Assembly.

    Please be aware that cameras are not allowed on the tour.
     
  • Lunch Options
    Two Course Seated Lunch on The Balcony within the Jaguar Visitor Centre prepared by our resident Jaguar chef.

    Three Course Gastro Pub Lunch at a traditional Warwickshire country inn with a contemporary twist. Includes Champagne Reception.

    Four Course Private Dining and Champagne Reception     at the prestigious Packington Hall, a large privately owned stately home and home to Lord and Lady Aylesford. The Hall has been occupied by the family since 1560 and is not open to the public. However due to a long standing relationship with Jaguar VIP groups are permitted access.

    All dining options are hosted by a representative from Jaguar Central Headquarters.
     
  • Guest Flight Departuresfrom Birmingham International Airport.

 


Extended Programmes
Extended packages can be arranged to include activities ranging from Heritage Ride and Drives, private shopping at Harrods, lunch at The Jaguar Boutique in The Berkeley, London, wine tasting and exclusive access tour of The Rothschild Collection at Waddeston Manor and many more depending upon market budget and length of stay.


Costs and Attendees
Factory tour events are a highly valuable marketing tool, helping markets to achieve their targets. To justify any Central spend as a contribution to these costs we will require detailed information about the guests attending the tour, reason for invitation as well as confirmation of the post-event follow up process for each guest. A standardised form will be sent to your market for completion for all events to help us monitor effectiveness.

Estimate costings will be provided by Hannah Dixon upon registering interest in booking a tour date.

Funding contributions from Central budget will be judged on a case by case basis. In all cases flight costs are to be covered by the market.


Availability
Please contact Hannah Dixon in the Global Events Team to provide dates that are convenient for your market, confirmation will then be provided upon reviewing availability at both the factory and lunch venue.

The following dates are factory shut down dates at Castle Bromwich, when tours are not available:

May Day - 3rd May
Spring - 28th May to 4th June
Summer - 23rd July to 6th August
Bank Holiday - 30th August
Christmas - 24th December to 1st January

Please note that tours are fully booked up until the end of May and June is particularly busy so please do register your interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Factory Tours are designed for a maximum of 40 guests.
